A bit of the truth

Shriya Anand

A bit of the truth is, that whatever you’re stressing about now, won’t matter in a few months.

You’ll see that you’ve simply passed it, it left you.

A bit of the truth is that, a mother’s love is unparalleled. No one can love you the way a mother does.

A bit of the truth is, to not worry. These things can cause stress and have you look negatively at life, when there’s so much to appreciate.

A bit of the truth is, that one day you will have it. It may not be what you thought it would be but it will be something you find that fills you right up.

A bit of the truth is that there is nothing in the world that should make you feel useless.

Shriya Anand: "I am a sophomore at Mandarin High School, and I am 15 years old. This is one my poems and I originally wrote it as an assignment for my creative writing class."
