Volume One, Issue 3

Tara Campbell

When cauliflower
gets curious it asks to touch
the tighter buds of broccoli's crown,
wonders if they would look as good in white.
When cauliflower gets restless it considers a tattoo
a little green band around its stalk or maybe just a
butterfly better yet henna, something exotic
but impermanent because who wants
to be stuck
that color
